Admission Procedure at SLPS

Application Process: Prospective students are required to submit an application for admission to the principal using the prescribed form. The principal retains the right to refuse admission to any applicant without specifying reasons.

Pre-Primary Admission Criteria: Admission to pre-primary classes, including Nursery, Lower Kindergarten (LKG), and Upper Kindergarten (UKG), is primarily based on the child's age. Typically, children aged 3 years are eligible for Nursery, while those aged 4 and 5 years are considered for LKG and UKG, respectively. Additionally, the child's abilities may be taken into consideration during the admission process.

Admission to Other Classes: Admission to classes beyond the pre-primary level requires the completion of a preadmission test. Additionally, applicants must present a valid transfer certificate from their previous institution as part of the admission requirements.

At SLPS, we aim to ensure a fair and transparent admission process while upholding academic standards and the best interests of our students. For further information on the admission process and requirements, prospective applicants are encouraged to contact the school administration or visit our website.
