School Examination and Continuous Evaluation Policy:

1. Assessment Structure: The progress of students at SLPS will be assessed through a combination of weekly, monthly, half-yearly, and annual examinations. Marks obtained in these tests will be considered when determining annual promotion.

2. Basis for Promotion: Promotion is granted based on the entirety of the year's academic performance. While the annual examination serves as a crucial evaluation tool, it is ultimately a means to reaffirm the results of the student's work throughout the year.

3. Continuous Evaluation: Continuous evaluation is an integral aspect of the educational process at SLPS. Students are appreciated and assessed on four key aspects: attitude, behavior, efforts, and improvement. In the pre-school years, there are no formal examinations; instead, continuous evaluation methods are employed to track and recognize students' progress and development.

At SLPS, we believe in a comprehensive approach to assessment that encompasses both formal examinations and continuous evaluation, ensuring a holistic understanding of each student's academic journey and progress.
